Are Electric Cigarettes Really Better for the Environment?

I saw this question when I was browsing around today. It was at greenanswers.com and someone wanted to know if e cigs were better for the environment.

Of course, I had to jump in

The answer, of course, is yes! I mean think about it – would you rather have smoke going into our air, or water vapor? Smoke has sooo many chemicals it’s rediculous…electric cigarettes, on the other hand, don’t.

Someone made a comment about using e-cigs to quit smoking…again, the jury is out on this one. Companies are not allowed to market e-cigs as “smoking cessation devices”.

However, I do know A LOT of people who have really cut back on thier smoking thanks to smokeless cigarettes.

But hey if nothing else, at least you cut back on inhaling the *thousands* of chemicals that is in regular cigarette smoke.

Better for the environment, and better for you… I think we have a winner
