Learn the E-Smoker Lingo and Vocabulary!
ByRead our review of what we feel is the BEST Electric Cigarette on the market today- Blu Electric Cigarettes.
When I first started vaping my electric cigarettes, I didn’t know what the hell the terms were. I hung out in forums and read blogs, but had no idea what some of the terms meant. Here is a quick recap of some of the most used terms:
Atomizer: This is the portion of electric cigarette hardware that heats the cartridge “juice” into a vapor.
Cartridge (Cart): A moulded plastic cartridge containing polyester filling material and “juice” for an electronic cigarette. A blank cart is one with only filling material, and no juice.
ECA: The Electronic Cigarette Association. A group of industry leaders, retailers, suppliers, and e-smokers who are fighting to make sure electronic cigarettes stay legal and available. Be sure to support them!!
E-liquid: The liquid used in electronic cigarettes that contains distilled water, flavoring, and nicotine.
Propylene Glycol (PG):The ingredient in most e-liquid recipes that produces vapor. Propylene Glycol, or PG, is on the FDA’s list of substances generally recognized as safe, and is used in everything from fog machines to artificial flavors.
Vaping: Actually using an electronic cigarette. Alternative word to smoking
So there ya have it. There are literally hundreds of other e-cig words that are thrown around, but these should get you started on the path to learning to talk the ecig talk
